This is us

Villa Foia Vella is paradise to us. “We” are yoga teacher Letty Beek and talent developer Robert Herok. From our own experience, we know how important and helpful it is to take a step back regularly; to relax, enjoy, and reflect on what you are doing and where you are going, consciously or subconsciously. Nature helps enormously with that. We enjoy treating guests to a carefree stay at this special place. Also, we offer - for those who wish - inspiration and insights with various forms of guidance. Villa Foia Vella is the ideal location for this.

Letty Beek

For the past 20 years, I have loved bringing up my girls and working with passion at Pathé and Rai Amsterdam. Now it's time for me to realise my dream. Living in such beautifully peaceful and relaxing surroundings as Villa Foia Vella is very easy; the ideal place for Yoga and meditation.

I am a certified Vinyasa Flow Teacher and can take you through my practice in a simple way to get you acquainted with strength and flexibility. We do this through conscious breathing and beautiful yoga poses, which make you aware of your body. I will guide you accompanied by the singing of the birds and the rustling of the breeze through the trees. Also, I very much enjoy cooking tasty and healthy food, which is easy here, with all the delicious sun-matured fruit from our own valley.

Robert Herok

Enjoying nature and inspiring, motivating and supporting people with their personal leadership skills - that's what I prefer to do. I have happily travelled to many special places to be close to nature; close to home and further afield, with Letty, with groups and alone.

My entire working life has been and remains focussed on helping people to be empowered; helping to develop their talent; helping them to show personal leadership skills. I spent the first 17 years of my career at IBM as, among others, recruiter and manager. Then I worked as an independent interim manager, Lean Black Belt and coach for several smaller and larger companies such as Liander, the Tax Authorities and RABO Bank. Also, I have been organising safari trips in India and Africa since 2003, combining safari and personal leadership development exercises. Being surrounded by nature always proves to be an essential factor in achieving and maintaining set development goals.

I also enjoy good food, (which fortunately Letty loves to make), sports, gardening and listening to music.
